| 'Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia' is the fear of long words. (We hope you don't have this, because if you do, you will be seriously messed up after looking at it!) It is impossible to lick your elbow. (You can try, but just make sure no one is around 'cause you might look kind of silly.) Twenty-Four-Karat Gold is not pure gold since there is a small amount of copper in it. Absolutely pure gold is so soft that it can be molded with the hands. (We sure would like to get our hands on some anyway.) The names of the continents all end with the same letter with which they start. "Almost" is the longest word in the English language with all the letters in alphabetical order. The world's tallest animal is a giraffe and the world's known tallest man is Robert Pershing Wadlow. The giraffe is 5.49m (18 ft.), the man is 2.55m (8ft. 11.1 in.). The world's tallest woman is Sandy Allen. She is 2.35m (7 ft. 7 in.). The strongest muscle in the body is the TONGUE. (Yeah, but we don't advise you try lifting any weights with it.) Americans on the average eat 18 acres of pizza every day. (Beware of killer corks!) Did you know that you are more likely to be killed by a champagne cork than by a poisonous spider? The king of hearts is the only king without a moustache. A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out. (I wouldn't get that close to a crocodile's mouth. Would you?) Polar bears are left handed. It is impossible to sneeze and keep ones eye's open at the same time. A cat's urine glows under a black light. (Ok, who checks this stuff out?) Mosquitoes do not bite. They stab. A mosquito has no jaws, when attacking a victim, it pierces it with its long proboscis and sucks the blood up through it's nasal tube. The skin of the armpits can harbor up to 516,000 bacteria per square inch, while drier areas, such as the forearms, have only about 13,000 bacteria per square inch on them. In Mexico, the Tooth Fairy is known as the 'Tooth Mouse'. If a surgeon in Ancient Egypt lost a patient while performing an operation, his hands were cut off. One gallon of used motor oil can ruin approximately one million gallons of fresh water. The placement of a donkey's eyes in its' heads enables it to see all four feet at all times.
